LEARN HOW TO REDUCE PAIN, JOINT STIFFNESS, GET HELP WITH FATIGUE
DO YOU HAVE OSTEOPOROSIS, POOR BALANCE OR JOINT REPLACEMENTS?
Specialist evidence based classes that focus on improving your balance and bone health. The classes will enable you to develop confidence in your balance, strengthen your bones in key fracture sites such as the spine, wrist and hips and aid in the recovery process if you have had a hip or knee replacement. The exercises will enable you to perform daily tasks with far greater ease promoting joint stability and independence.
During the sessions, class participants are encouraged to work at their own level to achieve their goals.
Quarterly assessments are undertaken to monitor progress and identify areas where additional support can be provided.
Various packages are available that include postural analysis, monthly feature class, 1 to 1 sessions and home visits.
Home Exercise programmes are available on request to support the work undertaken in the class.
